How the number is worked out
- The share is taken on what you pay for the product, after any discount, excluding shipping and tax.
- It is recorded against your order the moment the order is paid for — not at checkout, so unconfirmed and cancelled orders never inflate the figure.
- If an order is refunded, its contribution is reversed and comes back out of the total.
- The totals on this page are read straight from that record. They are what we owe and what we have paid, not an estimate.
